Privacy Policy

Zenhippo, LLC (“Zenhippo”, “we”, “our” or “us”) values your privacy. In this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to our website located at www.wearezenhippo.com (the “Site”) and the services available through our Site (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy does not apply to information that we collect from you offline.

By visiting the Site, or using any of our Services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy. Your use of our Site or Services, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy.

Personal Information Collected

When visiting or registering on our Site, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience. When registering for classes on the Site, we will also collect your child’s name, date of birth, certain medical and emergency information, and other information you provide when submitting your request.

We may automatically collect the following information about your use of our Site or Services through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; device ID; the length of time you visit our Site; page views; and the referring URL or webpage that led you to our Sites. Please see the section “Cookies” below for more information about our use of cookies and other tracking mechanisms.

How Information is Used

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to marketing communication, browse the website, or use certain other Site features to (a) allow us to better serve you in responding to your customer service requests; (b) quickly process your transactions, and/or (c) send periodic emails regarding your order or other Services.

Consent

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, or return a purchase, we will infer that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.  For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it's release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.

Third-Party Links

When you click on links on our Site, they may direct you away from our Site. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Third-Party Ad Networks

We may use third parties such as network advertisers to serve advertisements on third-party websites or other media (e.g., social networking platforms). This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements to you for products and services in which you might be interested. Third-party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs and other tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. These third-party cookies and other technologies are governed by each third party’s specific privacy policy, and not by this Policy.

Users in the United States may opt out of many third-party ad networks. For example, you visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Consumer Choice Tool page, www.optout.aboutads.info, and the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) Consumer Opt-Out page, optout.networkadvertising.org, for information about opting out of interest-based advertising and available choices regarding use of information by DAA companies and NAI members.

Opting out from one or more companies listed on the DAA Consumer Choice page or the NAI Consumer Opt-Out page will opt you out from those companies’ delivery of interest-based content or ads to you, but this does not mean that you will no longer receive any advertising through our Site or on other websites. You may continue to receive advertisements, for example, based on the particular website that you are viewing (i.e., contextually based ads). Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you opt out on the DAA or NAI websites, your opt out may not be effective.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
